The Haybarn Cabin
Property Description
The refurbished Haybarn Cabin boasts stunning views of Loch Voil and the surrounding mountains. Sleeping 6 people in total, it is ideal for a family or group of friends.
The location is a haven for wild life including deer, foxes, otters, pine martens and several varieties of birds. It makes a great base for a walking or cycling holiday – National Cycle Routes are nearby and mountains including Ben Mor and Stabinion make a good walking challenge for guests!
Upstairs, there is a loft bedroom that is suitable for a couple and a child. Downstairs, there is another large bedroom with a double and a single bed. In the living area, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, a fridge freezer, a toaster, and a kettle.
The large wood burning stove keeps the cabin cosy in all weathers, and guests can relax on the 4 armchairs that surround it. For dining purposes, there is a table with additional wooden chairs.
The bathroom is small with a toilet, a hand basin, and a shower cubicle. Please note that water must be heated by kettle or on the stove.
Electricity is available on a £1 coin meter, and wood for the log burner costs £5 per bag. Alternatively, you may bring your own.
Internet can be accessed in our hostel which is a 50 yard walk from the cabin.
Unfortunately, as Haybarn Cabin is based on a working farm, we are unable to accept dogs.
