Highway Hill is a new development set in the rolling downland of the North Wessex Downs – there are 3 shepherd’s huts, each named after famous shepherds from literature and decorated with their own individual style and colour scheme, along with 2 cosy bell tents.
Each shepherds hut sleeps 2 and are well equipped with everything guests could possibly want for a cosy break: a well-equipped cooking area including a hot, sink and all pots and pans; a woodburning stove and endless supply of logs; Egyptian cotton bed linen; plug sockets and electric lighting; each have a private BBQ and seating area for outdoor cooking on warm nights.
Perdita hut has a luxurious, comfortable finish and the purpose-built toilet and shower block is just a short walk away. All accommodation comes with complementary tea and coffee, pasta, olive oil/vinegar and oats for morning porridge. Guest will also receive fresh milk and fresh eggs from the farm. If guests prefer not to cook then pre-ordered meals can be arranged at an extra charge.
A selection of board games and jigsaws are also available to use.
As Highway Hill is based on a farm with lots of curious, friendly animals to meet, from pygmy goats to alpacas and donkeys, dogs and other pets can not be accommodated.
