The cottage is set in over three acres of private meadows and orchards and has fine views across the valley. It sits next to the kitchen garden where guests can harvest fruit, vegetables and cut flowers.
When you want to explore further afield, a network of footpaths radiate from the front door, some linking up with Offa’s dyke path (named by Lonely Planet as one of the 10 best wall walks in the world).
The nearest town is Presteigne which is a twenty-minute walk (2 minute car drive). The high street is filled with independent shops, pubs and cafes.
The area has a cluster of attractive market towns including the popular towns of Hay on Wye and Ludlow. Both are great to visit – they have regular markets and hold annual events such as Food, Literature and Medieval festivals.
