Herdwick Shepherd Hut is situated in the middle of the village, next to the Craven Arms pub. The hut has a double bed, a log burner, and en-suite facilities. There’s also underfloor heating.

Perfect for a romantic break, walks along the river wharfe are just minutes away, while the Craven Arms serves a good range of refreshments and food.

Bellwether Shepherd Hut (30 minutes from Harrogate)

One of three glamping options at the Craven Arms, Bellwether is the largest hut and is suitable for couples or a small family.

Sleeping 3 people, there is a double bed and a single bed on the mezzanine above. The hut also has a small dining area plus an en-suite with shower, toilet, and hand basin.

Heating is supplied by the wood burning stove, while internet access is available in the pub next door.

Baildon Camping Cabins (17 miles from Harrogate)

Baildon Camping Cabins are located just over 30 minutes drive from Harrogate, and boast stunning views across the Airedale valley.

Inside each cabin is a cosy memory foam double bed and an electricity point. Outside, the cabins have small verandas with sitting areas comprising of tables and chairs. There’s also a BBQ stand. The shower block is a few yards away.

Baildon Camping Cabins have some of the best rates in the district. The average price is £35 per night.

Choosing to holiday around the Harrogate area is a great choice. The town itself has a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs, while The Stray is perfect for exercising or relaxing.

Further afield, Nidderdale can be reached by car within 15 minutes, and the village of Pately Bridge is well worth a visit. Other local towns such as Ilkley and Otley are also excellent day trips.
